CDL Delivery Driver

AMCON Distributing Company has an immediate opening for a CDL Delivery Driver at our distribution center in Omaha, Nebraska. This position offers a 4 day work week Tuesday through Friday. Class A or B licensed drivers needed. AMCON will assist class B drivers in getting a class A license while working as a class B driver. JOB SUMMARY FOR A CDL DELIVERY DRIVER: You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of products to predetermined customers on specific routes. This includes: Reviewing orders at the time of delivery Unloading product from the truck using a two–wheeler and a ramp Taking product into the customer's facility Maintaining positive customer relations ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS FOR A CDL DELIVERY DRIVER: Operate assigned vehicle and deliver and/or pickup merchandise Load and unload merchandise in a timely manner Observe all traffic laws and complies with Department of Transportation regulations Maintain customer relations through positive attitude, cleanliness, etc. Maintain truck–driving logs Assist in training new drivers/helpers Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CDL DELIVERY DRIVER: High school education or equivalent CDL Class A or Class B license Good motor vehicle report Valid CDL DOT medical card 21 years of age or older Able to lift up to 60 pounds and pass a functional capacity evaluation Excellent customer relationship skills Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship The Wholesale Segment of AMCON Distributing Company is one of the largest wholesale distributors in the United States serving approximately 5,400 retail outlets including convenience stores, grocery stores, liquor stores, drug stores, and tobacco shops.
